Sima’s jewellery complements the exhibition by reflecting the artistic traditions and materials that were exchanged along these historic routes. Her work has been associated with the British Museum for over a decade, underscoring her commitment to creating pieces that resonate with historical and cultural significance.

The “Silk Roads” exhibition explores the intricate network of trade routes between AD 500 and 1000, highlighting cultural and commercial exchanges across Asia, Africa, and Europe. It features artefacts such as Chinese ceramics, Byzantine jewellery, and ancient chess pieces, illustrating the movement of people, objects, and ideas across vast distances.
